quests are an interesting twist that Amplitude does, but imo, they are basically just interesting the first time, and actually make the game worse after that, because its just predictable instead of new and exciting. Its basically the same game, but with some house rules thrown in. or like when high school kids copy each others homework, but just change some answers so it isnt as obvious or at least they can claim plausible deniability.
its like someone at Amplitude said lets copy paste CIV 5, but like just change it enough to avoid lawsuits. its like how Hi-Rez basically copy/pasted Overwatch to make Paladins. it just looks like dollar tree CIV 5 to me. I really dont understand any of the hype for Humankind.
